Some of you may be familiar with the airline EgyptAir as the world-renowned airline based in Cairo that provides exceptional international passenger flight services. Its vast network reaches into the corners of five continents, connecting more than 70 destinations around the globe. It bears its name as a proud member of Star Alliance and the Arab Air Carriers Organization and is recorded in the annals of time as Egypt’s favourite flag-carrier that employs more than 9000 professional and highly trained staff members. Established in 1932 as Misr Airways, it now has a fleet size that exceeds 50 aircraft.
As competitive as its network is and as all-encompassing as its routes are, some people need to travel locally. This is the reason that EgyptAir Express (www.egyptair.com) exists as a subsidiary of EgyptAir that employs smaller aircraft to take people where they need to be in Egypt and countries that are in relatively close proximity to Egypt.
EgyptAir Express was founded in 2006 and has a fleet size of 12 aircraft, consisting of Airbuses and Embraers, that fly to 14 destinations in and around Egypt. EgyptAir Express operates primarily from Borg El Arab Airport, Cairo International Airport as well as from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

EgyptAir Express tickets can most conveniently be bought online. You can do this either by visiting the airline website and doing the booking directly or by using the flight booking tool provided on this website which we strongly recommend. The reason we advise the use of a flight booking agency such as ours is simple. By following the same process as you would on an individual airlines page, you will be exposed to relevant flights from a number of different airlines, based on the information you provide about your dates of travel and arrival and departure points. This way you are able to compare flights and book the best tickets that suit your needs. Note that flight prices are subject to change.
Our online payment facilities are easy and secure. An added advantage to using our website is that you can simultaneously make your accommodation bookings for competitive rates, as we are affiliated with booking.com.

Before You Fly with EgyptAir
EgyptAir Express, like most airlines, stays committed to providing its passengers with the smoothest transition possible from where you are to wherever you want to be. This means more than just excellent in-flight service and luxurious travel; it also means a hassle-free experience from the time you book your tickets. You can check your flight status online by providing your flight number or flight route. You can also find all the lounges that you will have access to when flying EgyptAir by searching the online catalogue available on the EgyptAir website by simply providing the city and airport name. To check-in online, you will need to provide your name, your boarding number and one form of identification or another. You will then be able to choose your preferred seats and print your boarding pass. Checking in online allows you to head straight to the drop-off counters at the airport without all the unnecessary hanging around waiting for your boarding pass.
You can alternatively check-in at the airport. For international flights, check-in opens three hours before your flight departs and closes 60 minutes before departure. If you are flying EgyptAir Express within Egypt, check-in opens 2 hours before your flight and closes 30 minutes before your flight is scheduled to leave. Note that if you attempt to check-in after this time, you will not be allowed to board your flight.
EgyptAir Express Special Services
If you are pregnant, physically disabled, elderly or have young children with you, you can request special assistance to make your journey as comfortable as possible. You can also request a special menu if you have specific food requirements based on your religious affiliations, personal preference or health requirements. EgyptAir can also transport your dogs or cats and (in exceptional cases) falcons, provided they have the appropriate vaccinations and provided they are at least 8 weeks of age. If you would like to transport your animals, you will have to inquire at the EgyptAir offices ahead of time.
EgyptAir Express Baggage Allowance
The dimensions and weight of the baggage you are allowed to check-in and take as hand luggage depends on where you are travelling to and the aircraft you are flying on. To check these allowances as well as baggage restrictions, you can visit the EgyptAir web page. You will have to pay a fee if your luggage exceeds the designated requirements. For selected flights, you can print your bag tag yourself before you even get to the airport.
EgyptAir Express Codeshare Partners
EgyptAir Express has code-share agreements with the following airlines, to name a few:
Earn miles when you fly by signing up for EgyptAir Plus membership. There are four levels of membership you can graduate to: Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level has a different set of benefits and rewards such as allowance for extra baggage and access to lounges. You can exchange the miles you collect from your travels for benefits that can make your next journey even more luxurious.
Miles can be earned when you travel with EgyptAir or selected partners or members of Star Alliance. To find out which airlines are linked to EgyptAir Plus, look on the EgyptAir website. You can also purchase your miles for lower rates; the more miles you buy, the less you pay.
A maximum of five family members can be registered and can reap the rewards of the EgyptAir frequent flyer programme.
