JetWest is set to takeoff in December 2017, flying on local routes in the country. Founder of the airline, Dikko Nwachukwu, said the new airline is aimed at making air travel accessible for more people.
Nwackukwu, a serial entrepreneur with a background in aviation who sees opportunity in the vast market unserved by existing airlines.
Nwackukwu has identified huge potential in the Nigerian aviation industry as just 15.2 million passengers passed through Nigerian airports in 2016 which is on about eight per cent of the population. #flyjetwest
If all goes to plan, jetWest will launch this year with some 100 employees and a fleet of three Airbus A320 jets flying local routes in Nigeria.
That could expand to 15 planes within 3 years, and 40 aircraft within 5 years, carrying over 10 million passengers a year. The company hopes this will also cover neighboring countries in the region.
We hope to offer online JetWest Flight Booking in the near future. In the mean time you can use the flight search engine at the top of this page to search for and book cheap flights with the leading airlines operating in Nigeria.
